Metallurgical Engineering - Internship
Mehta Tubes Limited
We are looking for melting process intern for melting and delivery system
process management for copper & copper alloy foundry including leading all
activity related to achieving process objectives, improving processes, and
providing support for product developments and line startups.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1\. Handle the processes taking place in casting & melting department
2\. Process control where the main objective lies in controlling the rejection
rate of casting parts
3\. Work on melt shop and production
4\. Handle the team daily check as per preventive schedule function of furnace
panel pump house
5\. Maintain recommended target analysis for cast & Iron different grades and
casting thickness
6\. Charge calculation
7\. Control of chemistry and chemical composition
8\. Maintain microstructure properties and mechanical properties as the
required for grade
9\. Control of metallurgical defects in cast & iron
10\. Manpower handling
11\. Rejection analysis & control as per corrective & preventive action
12\. Production handling
